Oxygen sensors being used in the diving community must meet requirements like signal repeatability under elevated pressures and long term stability. Harsh environmental conditions such as moisture, sudden temperature and pressure changes giving them a hard time. Furthermore, to provide accurate readings the sensors must tolerate mechanical shocks, vibrations caused by compressors or gas mixing chambers.
All itg oxygen and carbon monoxide sensors for use in the diving area are equipped with water repellent measures to reduce the effects of condensation at the sensing area as well as protecting the internal electrical components.
